Making an appointment

1) Go to www.maiia.com or to our application. 2) On the home page, search for your healthcare professional by entering his or her name, specialty and practice location. Maiia will display the results corresponding to your search criteria. 3) If several types of consultation are possible, choose the one that suits you: - Consultation by appointment: a physical consultation in the office - Teleconsultation: a remote video consultation 4) Select an appointment time and create a Maiia account. If you already have an account, simply enter your login details. 5) A confirmation email is sent to you.

It is possible to create an account thanks to the profile icon at the top right of your screen. It is also possible to create an account when making an appointment.

Enter the email address you used when you created your Maiia account. An automatic email will be sent to your email address with a link to reset your password.

If you do not receive an e-mail after following the procedure, this means that the e-mail address you entered is not associated with a Maiia account. Make sure you have not made a mistake when entering your e-mail address. If you have not made a mistake, you can create a Maiia account with this email address by making a new appointment with a practitioner. That's right. You can enter this information from your Maiia account or from the appointment form (after you have logged in) by clicking on "Add a relative". Fill in the information of the person for whom you are making an appointment (last name, first name, date of birth and gender).

Either your healthcare professional did not want to share his or her schedule with his or her patients, or he or she no longer has any slots available on Maiia.

Yes, you can make several appointments with a health professional with whom you have already made an appointment.

Maiia automatically sends you a confirmation email when the appointment is made. An email and SMS reminder are sent to you 24 hours before your appointment. In the event of cancellation of one of your appointments, you will also be notified by email and SMS.

That's right. To do this, go directly to the appointment form in your Maiia account. Your appointments are visible from the home page or from the "Appointments" section. You can also cancel your appointment from the confirmation email you received in your mailbox. Simply click on the "cancel my appointment" button. Please note that if your appointment starts in less than 6 hours, it will no longer be possible to cancel it on Maiia. You will have to contact your practitioner by phone.

To change an appointment, log in to your Maiia account, cancel your appointment and then make a new appointment in an available slot.

Maiia is an approved Health Data Host (HADS). This means that your data is only used for the proper functioning of Maiia, with all the confidentiality and security measures that this service requires.

Yes, for patients, using Maiia and making an appointment online is completely free.
